This one is different.
Daniel’s company
Beacon Federal Partners is my brother’s company. Daniel Strickland is the Founder and CEO. I work alongside him as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer.
I want to be clear about that order, because it matters to me. This is his vision. My job is to help him run it and build it well.
Why it stands on its own
Beacon isn’t a Boston Made brand. It has its own name, its own identity, and its own direction — and it should. Our team at Fenway Web designs the site, but the company belongs to Daniel.
I think that’s healthy. Brothers can build together without everything having to live under one roof.
What building with family teaches you
- You can’t hide from people who knew you before you were anybody.
- Honesty comes faster — and so does forgiveness.
- The win means more when you share it with someone who shares your last name.
- You’re not just protecting a business. You’re protecting a relationship.
We grew up in the same house, shaped by the same faith and service, raised by the same two parents — who, I’m grateful to say, are both still here to watch us do this.
